Located on the western outskirts of the Royal Burgh of Banff on the A98, Banff to Inverness Road this comfortable 1970’s purpose built hotel sits overlooking the beautiful Moray Firth.
With magnificent views to the North and the Caithness Hills the area abounds with secluded sandy coves and precipitous cliff top paths from which to enjoy the highland scenery and superb sunsets that distinguish this section of coastline.
Mid-way between Aberdeen and Inverness the Banff Springs Hotel is well located to explore:
• The Whisky Trail & Castle Country.
• The Coastal Trail – with many preserved fishing villages including the early 17th century harbours of Portsoy and Pennan (famed for ‘Local Hero’ film)
• The colony of Moray Firth Dolphins
• Mac Duff Marine Aquarium - Voted Scotland’s most visited tourist attraction in 2004
