We have seen many hotels on Koh Samui and The Passage was indeed one of the most beautiful hotel on the island. Especially the relation of comfort and price is unbeatable. The hotel is located next to Nathon city. It was the right decision not to go to Chaweng Beach. If you want to go there just rent a scooter for appr. 250 Baht/day. Its real great fun to drive. In front of the hotel there is a little, wonderful, lonely and clean white sandy beach. There are also palms going into the crystal clear water. The Hotel re-opened in 2009 and is completely renovated. The rooms are tidy, well equipped, the staff is very friendly and they have an excellent restaurant at the beach front. We (couple, 26 years old) can warmly recommend this hotel.
The bungalows are placed in the middle of a beautiful garden. Staff realy helpful, great restaurant, would go back again. The beach has realy shalow water, which might be perfect for small children, but you have to go to an other beach for swiming and other mass tourist activities.
There are 14 bungalows of Superior garden view with fully furnished and full amenities. Every bungalow has own balcony in order to enjoy garden view at their leisure.
